Lucknow: Signature Building of UP Police built at a cost of 816 crores, these are the features

The Signature Building has been specially designed. There are four towers in this building. Along with this, apart from fitness center, helipad, it also has many modern amenities.

  • The new headquarters of UP Police (Signature Building) will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday evening. The Signature Building located in Sector-7 of Gomtinagar Extension is built in about 40 thousand square feet and the total cost of making it is Rs 816.31 crore. The offices of all the 18 police units have been shifted to this hi-tech building.
  • Signature building has been specially designed. There are four towers in this building. Along with this, apart from fitness center, helipad, it also has many modern amenities. The DGP’s office has been built on the ninth floor of this building. The DGP is now even sitting in this office.
  • The construction work of this building started in the Akhilesh government. One of the three other towers of this building has a conference room on the top floor, a lounge in the second and a seating area for the DGP’s assistants in the third. Officers related to the DGP headquarters and their rooms have been made on the eighth floor.
  • Police museum, all control rooms, PRO office, pensioners office, library and visitor’s room have been built on the ground floor.
  • The Home Department says that the approval for the construction of a multi-story police building in Lucknow was given so that the different branches of the police would be able to exchange information among themselves.
